These pioneering efforts at organizing and presenting his ideas on technical designs defined a paradigm that other large-scale informational projects on the web have subsequently followed. In the late 90s, he shifted his career and perspective from the technical venue to management. Since then, he has been experimenting with and researching different management principles in a successful managerial career. Upadrista Venkatesh is currently managing the delivery of multiple accounts for one of India’s top IT service providers. He has been an advisor to a number of e-business initiatives and has had a successful career in setting up PMOs and competency centers, aligning new verticals, etc. in his the IT industry. He has extensive experience working with customers and has been successful in all of his major assignments, earning the customers’ confidence. He also has worked in vendor management, being motivated to see himself succeed in the goal along with the vendor organization. His experience moves across product and project management. He has a proven successful record of accomplishment as the advisor for major customers transforming their project models from the traditional life cycle model to the Agile development model. He has dealt with large project agreements bringing accounts from the conceptual stage to million–dollar programs and has demonstrated great expertise in pre-sales as well.
