Poetry is a hard market to sell, but the only market that presents us with a window into the author's soul. The Sounds of Sylence shows us all aspects of the life and times of Sylence Campbell, the light and the dark. We are not often granted this up close and completely vulnerable view of someone's psyche. But here, for your hears and eyes, is the very depths of a soul. Tortured, mended, and open for all to view, showing you the bravery held within that allows us such the opportunity to be present in the most beautiful of all places: The human heart. Open the cover and read the words upon the pages and see just how often the text mirrors your own emotions. This is the wonder of poetry at its best.

This is the First time I ever wanted to review a book. Not only have I enjoyed the Author's Poetry but found a resounding chord in her writing that touches my soul.I read, felt and tasted the words. Her words suggest an old Soul with experinces spanning more than one lifetime put on paper. I even bought a second copy to present to my niece who devoured it whole. That in itself speaks volumes. That a 14 year old also found it riveting say much towards the Author's appeal to several generations. I have simple tastes and know what I love and this tops the list. I know I will see more of this writer in the future and a bright future she will have.I look forward to filling my shelves with future "Sounds of Sylence". A humble thanks to her skills

This book is one of the most raw and soulful expressions of pure emotion that I have come across. The composition, form, and visuals contained within are an inspiration to those of us looking for modern poetry, and being very disappointed in what we find. I cannot wait for more from this author.

This is an amazing collection of poetry from a talented author. Her ability to draw the reader into the scenes and emotions presented is astounding and inspiring. She expresses what so many feel, yet cannot put into words with eloquence. I have read this book three times, and no amount of rereading it lessens the wonder it stirs. I would recommend this piece of literary art to any with a desire to read fine poetry.

Sylence is a great poet who really truly writes from her heart. You can feel her pain and sorrow in a lot of her poems in this book. You just want to reach out to her and give her a hug. Great work, a great detailed inner look at romance and heartbreak, pain and suffering and just life as we go thru it. Great job Sylence!
