Morris Striplin began writing shortly after completing his graduate studies. Not a great deal of time was to pass before he was forced to face with the grim reality he would never be able to change the real world, and began to explore the possibilities of creating a world in his mind where anything was possible. His first writing efforts were an escape from the torment of being faced with the desperate, insurmountable problems he was asked to address as a social worker on a daily basis, finally becoming a fulltime vocation.
