Managing Stress on the Project Team by Lou Russell
According to recent research done by Cutter (12/2002), more than 60% of people claim that they are not only more burned out than they ever have been, but as soon as they are able, will do something about it. Employees under stress increase costs through ineffective work and health issues. Many companies are also concerned that as the economy improves, retention will suffer.
The solution is complicated, since the very managers who must lead their staff through pressure, change and uncertainty are also struggling with the same issues. This recording is designed to help managers and staff change behaviors and leverage tools to help them be more flexible and resilient, reducing the business cost of stress.

"Holds the listener's attention."- TCM Reviews
"Managing Stress on the Project Team" is an audio CD of a conference lecture by Lou Russell. The lecturer is straightforwardly honest and presents the material in a way that holds the listener's attention while making them really think about the way that they do business. I had to laugh at the irony -- as I listened to the lecturer about the downside of multi-tasking, I was listening to the CD while madly trying to get three other things done (and making mistakes that were driving me insane). Could she be any more correct in her assessment? She also noted a handfull of ways to create stress that I had also experienced and that were quickening the eventuality of burn out.- Tami Brady, TCM Reviews
