Fitzgerald is a master at creating a narrative that keeps you riveted to characters that are right out of daily life. What seems random never is and things add up in ways you could never have guessed. Life is full of surprises and so is this book. Great Read.

What a masterfully woven tale of murder, mystery, and intrigue. Ms. Fitzgerald grabbed me in the gut with a tightly clenched fist from the moment the whistle blew and the horses bolted out of the starting gate, and didn't let up until the tense and gripping climax. In fact, she just kept squeezing tighter and tighter until I was almost tied in knots. You're going to need to go to the store and purchase a whole barrel full of midnight oil before you start this page-turner--or page-burner, I should say. The protagonist, Allie Grainger, and her intense dire predicament were very real, and kept me in her head, gritting my teeth, and on the edge of my seat until I could hardly stand it. I believe that, when I finally inspect my copy again in the light of day, I will likely find scorch marks on the pages. A must-have must-read for every avid mystery or thriller reader, and a stunning accomplishment for any writer. I'm definitely looking forward to and will be on the lookout for anything this masterful storyteller has to share with the literary world. Kudos and bravo, Ms. Fitzgerald!

I've read Lynda Fitzgerald's first two books, and now she's showing how versatile she is by writing a mystery/thriller series. Allie Grainger inherits her aunt's beach house on the east coast of Florida and before long finds a dead body. The action takes off from there with a group of well-fleshed out characters that the reader cares about, multiple suspects that keep you guessing until the last page, and enough action to keep you reading long into the night. Even Allie's conversations with her dead aunt are believable. LIVE Ringer is a great read. Now I can't wait for the next in the series.

The day I purchased Live Ringer, I had had a long day and thought I would read a chapter or two and go to bed; however, after I started reading, I couldn't put the book down. The author's characters were all very unique, and she described them so well that you could visualize each and every aspect of her characters. But, you couldn't anticipate what each charter would do. That's the best part. The plot was new and refreshing -- not something you read every day. Am looking forward to Ms. Fitzgerald's next book, and have definitely recommended Live Ringer to all my friends.

Having just finished reading "Live Ringer" by Lynda Fitzgerald, I am glad to provide a review on the latest book by this very talented author. This is the third book I've read by Ms. Fitzgerald and they keep getting better. In life, there always seems to be a natural symmetry and if you believe Hemmingway when he said, first drafts are crap, then "Live Ringer" is the caviar of literary sustenance. A great read that stays with you like a fine red wine long after you are through. You can't put it down and when you finish it, you wish there were another 100 pages to read. The characters are memorable and the plot twists keep you intriqued. For fans of mysteries, you owe it to yourself to read it now rather than later. I'm impatiently waiting for book two in the series--so Ms. Fitzgerald--bring it on!

LIVE Ringer is, above all, a darn good story. Fitzgerald excels at weaving a tale with impeccable characterization and a plot line that never gets in the way. I thoroughly enjoyed the twists that kept me guessing. The "sense of place" is strong in LIVE Ringer. Although I'm not particularly a "beach person," I found myself drawn to the beach as Fitzgerald presented it. Quite a good read!
