“Creative Conflict Management”is by Catherine Daw. Daw is the President and Co-founder of SPM Group Ltd. Daw specializes in teaching the way to link strategy and initiatives. She was named to the PROFIT W100 ranking of Canada’s Top Women Entrepreneurs.

Throughout the CD, Daw emphasizes that not all conflict is bad. Conflict can be the catalyst for ideas that may be beneficial to the project at hand. She also points out the conflict is inevitable, so we all must learn how to use it to serve the best interest of the group. Being proactive in conflict management will more effectively utilize the positive aspects of conflict.

Daw explains that there area different types of conflict, conflict management styles, and sources of conflict. She also discusses the different methods of handling the different types of conflict.

Since we all have conflict in the group situations we find ourselves in, we all can benefit from “Creative Conflict Management”. This CD is not just for managers. This CD is for anyone who is in a community group, church group, as well as a business project group. I recommend this CD to all.
