Arden's Touch has more than a few of those wonderful 'moments'. From the first meeting of the protagonists (they hate each other, naturally) to the red hot scene in the wonderful haven hidden away on the hero's ranch, to the mysterious and spell-binding events going on in and about the manor involving ghosts that go bump (and do a few other things) this is a great read! Beth Henderson has a wry sense of humor and an ability to catch the reader off-guard with unexpected twists. Buy this and her other novels if you like romance with a plot that keeps you engaged and, at times, spell-bound.

What more could you want? A gorgeous estate, a beautiful horse, fiery protagonists and, oh yes, ghost stories complete with ghostly appearances.
Charlie Arden, unhappy ovef being assigned to cover a ghost story for her network, arrives at the estate ready to prove there are no such things Her partner, Jack Donohue, takes the opposite tack. But that's the least of her worries once Mark McCrimmon discovers her trespassing on his property.
Because of a devastating breakup years earlier, Charlie is determined to avoid all romantic entanglements. But she isn't prepared for the volatile chemistry between herself and the Laird, Mark McCrimmon. Not only is she alone in her determination to disprove the existence of the ghosts, those very same ghosts push her toward the Laird.
The love scenes, and even the fights, are delicious. The characters, ghosts, horses and all, are compelling, draw you into the story and don't let go until the very end.

I read this one. It's a neat contemporary romance with a ghostly twist. Are there ghosts, or aren't there? You'll have to read to find out. This was a fun read.
