Getting Final Approvals
|
Description We often think that getting final approval for a project’s deliverables is fairly straightforward: if we complete the scope and have good quality deliverables, then the customer should approve the deliverables without any issues. Many are surprised to find out how wrong this assumption can be. This presentation discusses the need to start planning and preparing the customer for final acceptance from day one of the project through the development of an acceptance plan and the use of a process called Expectations Management. The key barriers to signoff will be covered, including both Scope Barriers and Lifecycle Barriers.
